RE: Vote Different
nice clip. good music.

I believe in changing the world. but changing it back to partly what it was. not something completely different.

some things are eternal.. some things need to be changed. I don't believe in disruption. I believe in JUSTICE.

equality in opportunity, race doesn't matter.

the moderate conservative is the biggest threat to the new world order. totally convinced.

libertarianism for the masses, increasing regulation for the RICH.

Honest libertarians understand that collectivism is wrong no matter who's doing it, whether it's government, unions or corporations.

RE: Vote Different
if you do not regulate the rich it would turn into a gangster economy.

rich corporations pay less taxes than the avg. middle class person on a percentage basis.

in fact some like GM get paid negative tax bonuses by the govt due to the tax loopholes.

how is that correct?

RE: Vote Different
Solution: abolish the personal income tax and only tax entities who willingly contract with the government in exchange for special privileges like corporations who receive charters from the government, federal employees, government contractors etc..

RE: Vote Different
^ yes but under a libertarian free market model, the rich can freely get benefits from the government

not allowing the rich to get perks from the govt is a type of regulation.

in a free market with no govt interference why can't people form cartels and price fix?

Why can't they do it now?

Why form a cartel and price fix when someone down the road wants the profits? I don't want to be a team with another company. I want to beat them with better services. And so does another guy. Competition makes it more fair than anything else.

RE: Vote Different
^ it has never worked.

like I said the free market works for an actual market.

but when big money is involved, they form cartels and cockblock all new entrants by choking off supply or engaging in monopoly practices.

balance is the key

You mean like Sears and blockbuster video and Woolworth and IBM and Packard Bell, Compaq, MCI worldcom, delta, pan am, Enron, RCA, General Foods, and the dot coms?

Cartels. All gone.

RE: Vote Different
replaced by other cartels working hand in hand with government. Amazon, Twitter, Google, Facebook, Apple

see how it works?

meanwhile the little man has to get a license just to cut hair.

WOE IS ME

the problem is libertarians actually think they will get as rich as the billionaires one day and can't see things clearly.

the ultra rich need to be regulated. the regular joe making less than 500K a year needs to be left alone.

RE: Vote Different
Cartels or monopolies are enabled by the government because of things like IP & regulatory capture.

So these unstoppable cartels were replaced. Doesn't that make them fallible?
