Watched Dragon Blade supposedly based on real events. Roman army on Silk Road in China
Sad to watch Jackie Chan, 61, try to transition from action actor to dramatic actor Adrien Brody and John Cusack were good enough for me. High production values. Literally 100's of extras. Nice costumes and scenery (inside town and mostly desert) - but great production values Sent from my SM-N910T using Tapatalk Stickgrappler's Sojourn of Septillion Steps |

About 75% done with The Midnight After ... a HK SF movie
Nominated for 8 HK Film Awards including the big ones, won for Best Original Film Score only Heard that they ran out of money so the movie's plot is unresolved. 16 passengers plus minivan driver seemed to be the only people left alive in Tai Po, Hong Kong Movie did well and sequel is in the works Simon Yam, Kara Hui, and Lam Suet head up the cast. Directed by Fruit Chan Sent from my SM-N910T using Tapatalk Stickgrappler's Sojourn of Septillion Steps |

I like Yam, but over the years, after watching a lot of Johnnie To and his Prod Co's films, Sean Lau Ching-wan is my favorite now that Chow Yun-fat has slowed considerably
Sean Lau was nominated 2x for Best Actor in 2014!! Insanity and Overheard 3, which he won for Sent from my SM-N910T using Tapatalk Stickgrappler's Sojourn of Septillion Steps |
