I'm here to help or offer advice if you need anything.

What Gigabyte board did you decide to get?
get a SSD hard drive. makes a big difference.
Gigabyte AM3+ AMD DDR3 1333 760G HDMI USB 3.0 Micro ATX Motherboard GA-78LMT-USB3

yeah i was looking into a raid config to boot up with a ssd and store the rest of the data on a hybrid drive
go for a 256 GB SSD drive for the system drive.

then get a 1 TB normal hard drive for data/movies etc.

should be good.

also get tons 8 GB of ram.. and run 64 bit windows.

32 bit windows cannot handle more than 4 GB of ram.
yeah im kinda liking windows 8.1 with the start is back update. 8gb ram is a something ill get around to when i grt more cash. car insurance is expensive

Is it for games? Always used to get best computer I could afford, now will go more on price, don't need much processing power, memory, but never really played games on it which need the power

Always wait for a good sale...memory prices tend to fluctuate and unfortunately is a bit on the high side at the moment.

8gigs of G.Skill memory is currently on sale for $52.99.
