A lot of the Democratic primary stuff ended up on the Yang Gang thread by default. I figure we can drop that stuff into this one until they finally pick a candidate.

This could be a disaster?

Bloomberg will release women who complained about him from nondisclosure agreements Confused

Former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg is willing to release women from nondisclosure agreements in relation to complaints about comments he made.

Bloomberg, who is running for the Democratic nomination, acknowledged that his company agreed to three NDAs regarding his conduct and that any of the women will be released from those binding contracts if they request, according to a statement on Friday.

He said in a statement, "I recognize that NDAs, particularly when they are used in the context of sexual harassment and sexual assault, promote a culture of silence in the workplace and contribute to a culture of women not feeling safe or supported. It is imperative that when problems occur, workplaces not only address the specific incidents, but the culture and practices that led to those incidents. And then leaders must act."

The former mayor also committed to working with experts to "review and reform our policies where necessary with regard to equal pay and promotion, sexual harassment and discrimination, and other legal tools that prevent culture change."

The announcement comes after the former mayor faced significant backlash over a litany of NDAs agreed upon with female employees. In particular, Sen. Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts, who is vying for the nomination as well, ridiculed Bloomberg during Wednesday's presidential debate.

“I’d like to talk about who we’re running against: a billionaire who calls women 'fat broads' and 'horse-faced lesbians,' and, no, I’m not talking about Donald Trump. I’m talking about Mayor Bloomberg,” Warren said.

The senator from Massachusetts went as far as to draw up a contract for Bloomberg to sign that would release the individuals from their NDAs.

Tonight is the Nevada caucus. Should be interesting how some of these guys do. Will Warren get a bump or continue to fall? Will Bloomie still be a contender? Will Bernie run the table? Will Biden wake up at all?

It's dumb of Bloomberg to release the NDA's simply because Warren complained about them. He should have stuck to his position on that and told her to fuck off.

Staunch republican Clint Eastwood now supports Mini Mike.

Sanders is said to be leading heavily in Nevada.

And now it's Bernie who's a puppet of Putin's.

"On Friday, the Washington Post reported that U.S. officials have determined Moscow is attempting to interfere in the Democratic primary race on Sanders’ behalf. Sanders responded by disavowing the alleged Russian efforts."
.
They are trying to discredit Bernie's obvious lead now like they tried to discredit Trump's win.

The Dems are really sore losers. Remember the Florida Recount?

It's a miracle!

And now Biden goes to Sth Carolina, where he stands to be a front runner.

Meanwhile, Putin's puppet Bernie held a rally in Texas last night and whilst not a Trump sized crowd, it was way bigger than any other Democrat candidate's crowds.

I think it's funny to see people commenting about Putin being a communist, therefore "Comrade Bernie" is his man.

Suddenly Russia is the USSR again.

So how do they explain Putin switching from capitalist Trump in 2016, to socialist Bernie in 2020?

Their lies make no sense.
Bernie repeating the same talking points at his rally

very tired talking points, pie in the sky ideas that would not work
.
I'm just amazed Bernie is doing so much better than everyone else.

Then again I'm surprised Buttguy does so well.

I'm out of touch with the thinking of Democrats I guess.
