It's just a matter of time before this kind of surveillance/invasion of privacy is incorperated in the western society. Or as so called, the Panopticon society. Followd by the "citizen score" and topped with the cashless society the rulers will be almighty

They would know Who, Where, How obidient and profitable you are at any given moment and place

And it's already in progress; "There are between 4 million and 5.9 million CCTV surveillance cameras in the UK, according to a new report from the British Security Industry"

Quote:"China has been building what it calls "the world's biggest camera surveillance network". Across the country, 170 million CCTV cameras are already in place and an estimated 400 million new ones will be installed in the next three years.
Many of the cameras are fitted with artificial intelligence, including facial recognition technology. The BBC's John Sudworth has been given rare access to one of the new hi-tech police control rooms."

I believe we are in a time of transition, from the industrial age, fully to the digital age. We. Will. Own. Nothing. Everything is rented, leased, borrowed from big international company's who wil know everything about you like above.. Even your own body isn't yours anymore in light of the forced donor legislation (at least in Holland). The law says the can take everything from you when you are "dead" UNLESS you fill in a form where you say you don't want that.. So the governement ows your organs unless you protest with filled in paper in 2's.

think about it
im just happy I lived a third of my life without internet. that is pretty amazing if you think about it

china has thr capability to surveil greatly but they dont bother unless you are some high tanking person
A lot of facial surveillance is already taking place in America. If you want to block some of it put tape over your camera on your tablet and PC. Even Mark Zuckerberg has his taped up because he knows the CIA can access our cameras.

In general people enjoy misery and suffering. That is their deepest genuine desire. This article gives it to them on two levels. Even if it is made up, like some news actually is, millions of people will enjoy fears and enjoy the idea of being harassed and dominated by a boot stamping on their heads. Even if that is not possible in reality they will enjoy the idea subconsciously, not consciously. That is why the minority, who are not like that, have a hard time getting along with general population. Now lets assume the article is right and it really is like that. So what is the problem in that? No problem. The population enjoys to be tracked and dealt with in that manner. That is their purpose: to suffer. It is like that in your country also. Everywhere. The only problem is that some of us do not like such destiny, then we have a problem with "fitting in"...
China def. has the capability to track you down in minutes if you're a fugitive.

check out this BBC reporter getting tracked down in minutes in a test:

How does face recognition work in China, when everyone looks the same?
