^ that looks pretty phoney.

a lot of these chinese fights are staged to boost national pride.

the shaolin guy yilong's fights are nearly all fake

Why yes, yes they have

Tai Chi is sensitivity training.

At that role it's the best on the planet. Just like Yoga is ultimate for developing flexibility.
Once you start pretending these are combative systems you step over into charlatan territory.

I've seen it before. My opinion is the Judoka threw the match. Look at how he squints
his face to fake exertion when he's not really trying anything. He doesn't establish grips, he doesn't try to break posture, he doesn't attack in combination, and he throws himself out alignment going into a throw. Exactly what I do when I'm training a newbie and want to give them a throw to build their confidence.

I don't doubt the Tai Chi guy had excellent balance, a low stance, strong thighs and superb sensitivity, but throw him in a blue-belt Judo tournament and see what happens.

Hell, throw him against an American High-School wrestler with no respect and see what happens.
Sensitivity is just one attribute of a fighter, and almost never the deciding factor in a fight.
Would you bet on the MMA fighter who was sold as "Excellent rootedness, very experienced at redirecting the flow of motion." or the guy doing high-altitude interval training in Albuquerque, New Mexico?

This 'Yielding to force" "Flow with the Go" Yin-Yang stuff is an excellent addition to those who have already mastered an Art, have 1000's of hours of sparring experience, and are technically superior to their opponent.
china does a lot of shit to promote national pride, esp. bashing Japanese martial arts.

they are almost always paid off to lose to Chinese TMA

it's so sad.

YOUTUBE THIS DUDE YI LONG biggest phony ever

I believe Nick Diaz was hit by a haduken, and still won the fight.

Gomi should have easily won that fight. I honestly think the MJ dulled the pain. Diaz's face was cracked yet he could still keep on truckin'

Gomi supposedly banged hos before the fight so he was coming into the fight with weakened CHI
Weed would have zero influence on his pain tolerance unless he was ripping bong hits between rounds.
rumor has it that he was smoking up before the right? if so that may have a dulling effect on pain sensation
He would have had to be ripping bong hits immediately before walking out, then it would have an effect for maybe 20-30 minutes max. Significant physical exertion kills the high very fast, especially for a regular smoker.
I doubt that MJ did much to ease the pain, if anything.

The Diaz brothers have high pain tolerances.
probably true.. but MJ has known pain killing properties. this is claimed by most potheads.
